You & I can become impaired when a part of our body becomes dysfunctional – we may carry on functioning but not at full capacity – maybe we walk slower because we’ve accidentally stubbed our toe or, we feel sapped of energy because we’ve caught a cold. Every part of the body from our heart being able to pump blood to our little finger being able to move has to be fully functional in order for us to be able to get on with life.
